FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing structure is based on the general market rate for the work to be done and my understanding of what it’s going to take to get the job done properly, filtered by my previous experience. I want pricing to be competitive, but if I know something is going to cost more to get done than a customer is willing to pay, I would rather not do a job than to cut corners to match a price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will come out to the home and do a walk through with the customer, get an idea of what needs done and their vision for the project, take measurements (if applicable) and take that information back to my office to complete an estimate. I make it a point to present an estimate to potential customers as quickly as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in construction for over 20 years, in various different trades. I’ve trained under masters in their respective fields, and have taken that knowledge into everything else I do. Previous to moving to this area, I had another company for over 10 years in two other states. I was working for another company for the last few years before deciding recently to go back out on my own.
