Hi! I’m Sam and a former marketing executive living in the NW suburbs. I’ve owned multiple houses including rental properties and I’ve always done the repair work myself. Handyman services I provide include carpentry, plumbing, tile work, appliance installation, electrical, furniture assembly, home improvement, furniture refinishing, trash haul away, drywall repair, and technology set up. I’ve been a DIY’r my entire life and have been doing handyman work on the side for past 25 years. I have flipped properties for myself and I’ve remodeled and renovated properties for others to sell.

We chose Sam Over a couple of different handymen. He was so helpful and knew exactly what he was doing. He installed a new sink, faucet and garbage disposal with no problem. He knows his stuff! We will definitely be working with him in the future.

We had Sam do a few projects around the house as we needed a new vanity and faucet installed as well as a new kitchen faucet. He did a great job and was very cognizant to ask me how I wanted everything installed where some other contractors might just make an assumption and not ask the questions. He also seemed quite knowledgeable about the process and he had all
the tools needed to do the project with him.

I thought his price was also fair based on the time it took to do the various projects and we would definitely use Sam again as there were a few things that we may address in the future. Would definitely recommend him!

Sam did a great job installing (2) 48 x 96 ceiling storage racks in my garage.

I was installing them myself and ran into an issue where the stud finder was showing a joist, but then there wasn't one actually there. Every spot I checked, even along the same line as the screws for the drywall, I wasn't hitting wood. So I figured I needed help.

I chose Sam because of his diverse experience, especially since he had worked on a lot of his own rental properties. I figured he had probably seen it all. But this was a new one for him, too. He did figure it out, though. Turns out the ceiling drywall was installed with resilient channels in order to reduce sound going to the bedrooms above the garage. Look them up if you haven't heard of them because you will likely run into them someday.

Anyhow, this complicated the install and had us worried about adequately being able to hold the weight that would be put on the storage racks. Sam came up with a solution that made sense, and it easily was able to hold more than enough weight in the racks.

I can pretty well guarantee that Sam will be able to tackle anything you need to be done. He'll do it right, plus it will look like a quality job when it's done. Couldn't ask for a better solution than he gave me.
