I do NOT offer Face Painting. With that out of the way...
I am Grampy and I have been specializing in magic for children for the last 40+ years. My motto is "It's not the destination, but the ride getting there." In other words it's all about having FUN getting to the end of the trick. Being a grandpa with 15 grandkids I know what it takes to entertain children. Kids LOVE Grampy's Magic and ALWAYS have a great time!
I NEVER do any types of tricks that may be considered dangerous (because kids tend to try and repeat things) ,so NO FIRE, NO SWORDS or ROPES THRU NECKS, ETC. Though kids love them, I do not use live animals in my act.
Although I specialize in magic for children, I also perform "big kid" magic including a mix of slight of hand and some mentalism.
My rates START at $150 for a 45 minute professional fun-filled , interactive children's/family magic show. You may also add BALLOON TWISTING to the show for an additional $50. This extends the time to about 2 hours of FUN.

Paul was great, a real pleasure for the children, and his services are a welcome addition to any party. He even was willing to make a few extra balloons during slower times so that any later popped balloons could be replaced after he left. His balloon designs were great! Truly a professional and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for balloontwisting.

Mr. Mateer was awesome! He arrived early, was set up on time and did amazing balloon animals! The kids loved his creations and there was always a line! He was definitely the hit of the Halloween party. Thanks Grampy's Magic!

Balloontwisting was the best we've seen. Kids and adults enjoyed the magic. Paul stayed later than anticipated in order to accommodate all of the balloon requests.

We really had a wonderful experience during our son's birthday party. Paul was great....very nice with all the kids and made all the balloon shapes, whatever kids asked for hats, flowers, animals and so on. Will definately call paul for our next party!!!!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I require no deposit, but all payments are to be made in cash only on the day of the event. Gratuity not included.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will discuss the event and determine how much time is needed. Balloon twisting, for example, requires approx. 2-3 minutes per child per design. After acquiring all the necessary information, I will follow up with a call a day or 2 before the event to make sure all is well and the event is still on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been practicing magic for over 50 years and have learned a lot from some great masters of the art. I am also GrandPa to 16 grandchildren...
