Steve is a wonderfully talented and very creative architect. He listened to what we wanted and incorporated that into a space that was both efficient and reflected the style we wanted to showcase!Jul 24, 2014
I am an architect in Honolulu. I called upon Steve when I was in a pinch. The hospital board needed 3-D renderings for a project to present to a benefactor. Steve did beautiful renderings from our sketches and everyone was happy with them.Nov 3, 2014
Steve designed my home office, turning a dark and noisy laundry room into a bright, quiet, and cozy study with gorgeous views. Steve is not just a talented and creative architect; he's also a terrific person. You'll love working with him.Jul 24, 2014
Steve, drove out on a Sunday, knew we had a short window to get plans drawn, and even with those restrictions gave us INCREDIBLE plans. Above and beyond anything we could have hoped for.Jul 23, 2019Verified
Steve took our need for damage assessment and requirements to repair from both a structural requirement need as well as "code compliance." Steve worked with us under very tight deadlines and responded as quickly as we needed him to do so. In addition, Steve also suggessted a much better solution to our repair problem (design of a Master Bathroom) as opposed to what we were originally thinking. In an era of what I term "customer vicious" service; Steve stands for true "customer focus and service."Jul 24, 2014

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge fees in any of three ways, depending on what makes the most sense for architect and client alike: hourly, a lump sum, or a percentage of the construction cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree. I am licensed in the state of Illinois. I earn continuing education credits every year, ranging from new products to green/environmental design concepts (I am also LEED certified). I am a member of the American Institute of Architects. We have achieved an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Steve Vasilion: "I remember as a nine-year old telling anyone who would listen that I was going to be an architect. There was never a 'Plan B'.
