I gave this rating based on the overall appearance and value of the completed work. He charged $180 for the board that he supplied. Initially, he quoted the job at $160. Later, when I followed up about availability, the quoted price increased to $200. I explained that this was outside my budget and suggested possibly scheduling the work at a later date, after which he offered to complete it for $180. The finishing piece needed to cover the exposed area was not provided or installed, and I did not have it on hand either. He charged his tools at my home and cut the wood on my stairs, but he did clean up after himself when the job was finished. In hindsight, I should have compared more options before proceeding. On a positive note, he was punctual and responsive to both calls and text messages.

Customer called me to fix door frame and never mentioned missing pieces nor did she post clear photos of the missing hardware. I had already bought the material and had other schedules thru out the day, she personally agreed to buying the piece and calling me back to install it, she never did.

I spoke with customer and was told he did not like that the brush marks that were visible on the wall, day will be set to use a roller to remove those brush marks to satisfy the customer to my best of my ability.
