PERTINENT UPDATE 8 Hours later!
After making a glowing review and TIPPING this man, I laid down and couldn’t understand why the bed was so hard. I could literally feel the coils hitting my back. Turns out the mattress was placed on the wrong side.
The backstory on this is that when I unboxed this mattress last night, it rolled upside down. I just had a hysterectomy 7 days ago, so put a fitted sheet on that side and thugged it out.
When I contacted him to tell him he put the mattress on the bedframe on the wrong side, he said to me well the sheet was on that side so how was that wrong?🙄
I told him I did that because I couldn’t flip the mattress when I took it out of the box. He continued to push back, saying I was being disrespectful about accusing him of not getting it right.
My very clear point is that attention to detail and a strong work ethic in being accurate is paramount to delivering the highest level of service.
By God’s grace I managed to flip the heavy 16 inch mattress by myself. Would you believe the utter gall of him to text me back an hour later saying, “ Hey geri so im at a festival right now, But I can leave and go to you but I Would charge you $50.”
It’s the greed and unethical work practices on top of a PISS POOR ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
