The studio I manage is a very small, personalized studio. Our goal is to get people MOVING and to fall in love with dance. I won't try to sell you more than you want, and I will pull out the best in you, so that your dance experience is a great one. It is about YOU- the dancer- and your hopes and dreams; small dreams like the perfect first dance with your husband, big dreams like wanting to grow up to be a professional dancer, or even bucket list dreams that are short lived but important none-the-less! I believe my studio offers all that... and that I am the right teacher for you.
I love dance. When others feel that same joy and experience the great feelings that come from dancing... it makes me happy. I also know that dance can be important to different people in many different ways. As my skills are widely varied, I can help people find that happiness, and lead them or teach them along the path that THEY want for their dance experience.

My husband and I had the best time doing our wedding dance with Kim. It was so much fun getting the fancy choreography and still being able to get it down in just three sessions. She helped us so much, and we could not be happier that we decided to do dancelessons with her!!

We met Kim at hear dance studio, we had a great time working with Kim. Price was affordable and very much worth it. We enjoyed working with her, excellent choreography, great instructor. Very responsive to requests, she even met with us at our venue to make to do our final rehearsal. She is very accommodating. Our guests enjoyed watching our first dance. We recommend her in a heart beat.

My boyfriend and I had never learned a thing about dancing in our lives but we are a bit over a month into studying partner dancing here and absolutely love it. We were a bit nervous at first, but the instructor is very personable and patient and sets any apprehension or anxieties at ease. She is very knowledgeable in all different styles of dance and we feel we have a strong foundation in both of the styles we have learned so far. The studio rooms are big and open as well. We look forward to dancing here every week.

I have had the best experience taking private tap dancelessons from Kim! My mom and I decided to take adult lessons to fulfill a fun bucket list goal of performing a tap routine. Kim welcomed us with so much enthusiasm and was able to bring out the best in us despite having zero dance experience!
Kim easily got a feel for what we were looking for and catered the classes perfectly. She was very skilled in quickly coming up with a routine for us to learn. She was very motivating and it was clear that she loves what she does. We can't imagine having any other instructor- she fit our personalities perfectly.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very reasonable, and I will not try to sell you more than you want. Some prices are negotiable, pending arrangements needed. My schedule is flexible, as I run my own dance studio.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a conversation with customers about their dance goal... that way I can adjust our lesson plans to find a perfect fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing since the age of 3. All styles, any classes that I could possibly fit into my schedule. I am trained in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, pointe work, and lyrical. I have also studied ballroom dance, line dancing, Brazilian and African dance. I choreograph and have worked in musical theatre for over 25 years. I have a BFA degree in Dance Performance and Education with a special in Jazz/Theatre Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I someday hope to have my Masters in Dance. I continue taking classes whenever my schedule permits... as there is always more to learn in the dance world. All of this training makes me the right instructor for you and your dance needs.
