Introduction: I've had several years of experience in the fitness industry. I strive towards designing an exercise program that will fit with your current goals and current fitness level. I'm down to earth, calm, very articulate when it comes to explaining exercises and workout programs to my clients. I've had several ups and downs in my many years of exercising and I use that experience to help my clients reach their goals as efficiently as possible. I'm also a very attentive massage therapist. My primary focus is helping people deal with aches and pains with my massage. Clients can expect a very detailed and focused massage that will address their needs and address any soft tissue issues they are having. Teaching people how to get started in an exercise program is very rewarding to me. I make exercise and strength training easy to understand and have helped many people from all walks of life improve their quality of living. In addition, helping people deal with pain and making them feel better through massage therapy is very rewarding. For example, having a client come in with bad back pain (not because of the personal training I promise!), working on the area, and then having them leave with little to no pain in the back is a great feeling. I want to help as many people as I can with my massage! I take great care in making sure my clients receive the attention they deserve, whether it be in a one-on-one session, small group session, or a massage service. Making sure a client is comfortable with the exercises and scaling the workout to fit their needs is a big part of what I do, in addition to addressing their individual needs during a massage.

Lucas provided excellent massage service - he was attentive and was focused on my needs. The location was clean, professional, and felt very comfortable. We both are going to have Lucas continue to provide us service on a regular cadence. Thank you, Lucas..

Massage Therapy

I don't care for a deep tissue massage, and the pressure I requested is exactly how I prefer.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I don't have any extra membership fees or long-term contracts. Training or massage therapy sessions can be bought individually or in packs. Clients are free to stop training any time you like, but I do appreciate as much advance notice as possible.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will take them through a basic assessment and consultation to get a better idea of their fitness goals and to see if we are a good match for each other. From there, it's just a matter of starting clients at an appropriate level and progressing them at a consistent, safe rate.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As a trainer, I went through a training program offered at Parkland College in Champaign. I stay as up to date as possible on new science and am always trying to expand my knowledge base. I also attended Parkland College for massage therapy, and have since practiced and honed my skills as to the best of my ability.
