We hired JB Contractors to help with our basement laundry arrangement. To start, we had an older washer and gas dryer, with the dryer vent on a different wall than where we wanted the machines. They upgraded our breaker box to support an electric dryer, drilled a new dryer vent hole and sealed the previous one, picked up and installed our new washer and dryer, hauled the old machines away, and cleaned up the gas connections in the previous dryer location. The communication with Carlos was excellent. We scheduled our appointment days after contacting him and he was always prompt to respond to any communication. Pricing and descriptions of the work needed was very clear. We appreciated the team’s care in moving machines in and out of the house - no wall damage! They had to detach a stair rail to have room and they reattached it more securely than it was before. They took care to keep the mess to a minimum and the basement was very clean when they finished. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the work and will be using JB Contractors for future projects.

Carlos has good work ethics and is very easy to work with and communicate with. He listens well and always try to solve our problems (with we had many) when unexpected things happen. He is an all around good contractor and can do a lot of projects. Carlos ripped out our old floorings and laid down new LVP floorings, re-painted our walls, install our tiles, re-did our bathroom showers, install our lights, shelvings, cabinets and more. He will also come back to fix things if something happens to his work later.

We bought our house at the height of the market last year. It wasn’t our first, second, or third choice, so we knew we’d have to renovate it to make it our own. We set out to find contractors and found that the more prominent companies were costly, and the wait time was very long. We found Carlos and his team here on thumbtack. They came out to give us a quote just before the weekend and got started within a week to help us realize our vision for our home. And though we still have more renovations, they certainly got us started, and we are pleased with the results. Thank you, Carlos and team!
