Kevin did a fantastic job on our basement floor after it flooded. We decided to install ceramic tile, and it turned out even better than we expected. He was professional, hardworking, and easy to communicate with. The quality of the work is excellent, and the finished floor looks amazing. We’re very happy with the result and would definitely recommend Kevin and Diaz Restoration LLC

I had a leak coming from my parapet wall, and Diaz Restoration came out to fix it along with my flat roof. Jimmy, the supervisor, helped me with everything and explained what was going on and how they were going to repair it. The crew showed up on time, kept the area clean, and the work came out really solid. So far, no more leaks, and I’m happy with the result. The only small thing was that they played music while working, and I work from home, but once I asked Jimmy about it, they lowered it and kept it low. I would definitely use Diaz Restoration again.

Very unprofessional they quoted one price and charged the price twice they did sloppy work and left the job incomplete. I called several time and talked to Carlos for him to precede to lie for two weeks about finishing the job. They have horrible communication and are rude and money hungry buyers beware. I signed a contract I should have made him stick with the price but I was trying to be reasonable so that they would do a good job. But that’s not the case they left a big open hole so animals can Rome free I was never ask if this was the way I wanted it he just did whatever he wanted to do!

Diaz Restoration LLC's reply
I’m sorry you feel this way, but I disagree with several parts of your review. The original project was quoted and agreed upon at a specific price. During the project, you selected the paint color yourself. After the work was completed, you decided you did not like the color and requested a different one. Even though the original color was the one you chose and the materials had already been purchased, I still worked with you and changed the color. The additional amount discussed was not for changing the color. It was for extra work that was never included in the original scope. Once the stairs were demolished, a large opening was exposed that needed to be enclosed. I explained that this was not part of the original estimate and would require additional labor and materials. Despite that, I completed additional work at little or no extra charge, including painting, staining, and enclosing areas that were not included in the original agreement. Regarding the opening underneath, I discussed it with you before completing the enclosure and explained why a small access space was being left. You agreed to that approach at the time. When you later expressed concerns, I offered to return and make any necessary adjustments. I simply asked for some time because I was busy with other scheduled projects. Instead, I received a call accusing me of stealing your money, which was very disappointing considering the extra work I had already completed at no charge. The paint, stain, wood underlayment, and several upgrades were provided without additional charges. My goal throughout the project was to help and accommodate your requests, even when they went beyond the original agreement. I have text messages, photos, and documentation showing our conversations, the color selection process, the agreed changes, and the additional work performed. At no point did I intend to leave the project unfinished or mislead you. I made every effort to accommodate your requests and complete the project in a fair and professional manner. I wish you the best and remain willing to discuss any legitimate concerns professionally.
