FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Both personal chef services as well as dinner parties start at $300 + the cost of groceries.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to receiving my Natural Chef certification from Bauman College school of Holistic Nutrition & Culinary Arts in Berkeley, CA, I also make sure keep my education current by attending seminars, workshops and conferences on a regular basis. I recently attended the Food as Medicine Conference in Minneapolis where I learned from leaders in the health and wellness field about all the current research going on re-affirming how vital food is to our health. I also attend seminars and workshops on local foods, Ayurveda, Farm to Table retreats, etc. I love to learn and am constantly seeking out continued education.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The clients I work with are all seeking to improve or maintain their health through diet. I currently have a lot of customers requesting gluten-free and paleo diets, but I also love cooking for plant based folks. Right now most of my customers are personal chef clients, but I also offer small-scale catering services for private dinners and events like bridal and baby showers, Mother's Day brunch, holiday parties, etc.
