My teenage son is not an academic. He faces learning challenges and easily loses focus. I appreciate Kristina’s ability to meet him where he is and engage with him while tutoring him in German. She’s had to go back and address things he struggles with in English comprehension before being able to progress his German. I was feeling helpless as a mom and didn’t even know where to start. But Kristina did. This is the best experience we’ve had with any tutor. My son is learning and interactive during the sessions, and his grade is improving. I do feel that Kristina genuinely cares for his growth and is very patient with him. I would highly recommend her for tutoring!

Kristina has been wonderful so far with her style of teaching. Her lessons are affordable and I feel like I’m moving through German fast because she makes sure to cover fundamental concepts in a way that’s both engaging and fun. She’s very patient and understanding if I’m struggling with a concept or vocabulary and assigns homework that challenges me and lets me explore new vocabulary on my own. I have taken two Germanlessons with Kristina so far and I am impressed. I enjoyed my first lesson so much that I attended the second lesson even though I was feeling sick.
In this short time, I already noticed Kristina is a skilled instructor with years of experience. I offer payment plans and discounts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I assess their level, unless they are starting from scratch, and select the teaching materials based on that. The students who are starting from scratch are asked to fill out a questionnaire.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did my doctorate in philosophy, which meant working with the original German texts. What’s more, my father was German.
