Everything about this experience was a 10/10. Great communication throughout the entire process. My tech was very professional. And the Work that was done was met to my expectations. If I ever need any type of service like this again, I will definitely be sure to use this company again or recommend to a family member or friend. I had a great experience! I needed my daughter’s full-size loft bed assembled that week, and he was able to come out the very next day. He arrived prepared with all of his own tools, reviewed the instructions thoroughly, and got right to work. I was really impressed with how quickly everything came together — he completed a pretty large loft bed with stairs in about two hours, and everything looks great!
We also had some pretty severe weather come through while he was working, including strong winds and tornado sirens. He was very cautious, communicated with me throughout the situation, and remained professional the entire time.
I also really appreciated that he took the time to listen to some of my safety concerns about having a loft bed for my daughter. There wasn't anything wrong with the bed or the assembly, but I wanted to know about possible ways to add even more reinforcement and safety. He gave me helpful professional recommendations on things we could do, which gave me additional peace of mind.
My daughter slept in her new bed for the first time last night and absolutely loved it! The bed turned out exactly how I hoped, and I'm so glad we hired someone rather than trying to tackle such a big assembly ourselves.
Professional, prepared, efficient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I would absolutely hire him again for future projects and would definitely use Thumbtack again based on this experience. Highly recommend!

I had my desk put together by them and it was a fairly smooth process! They did reschedule my time from 2-3pm to 4-6pm though which would've been an issue if I didn't have roommates who would already be at the apartment.

My first appointment had to be rescheduled, but they were able to send someone the next day who was right on time, professional, personable, did excellent work and fast! I’m confident it would have taken me most of the day to assemble the 6’ tall pantry cabinet with multiple shelves, a drawer and 4 hinged doors, and he had it done in a few hrs! Dylan was wonderful! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Service Policies
1. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations
• Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for changes or cancellations.
• Same-day cancellations or reschedules may incur a $50 fee to compensate technician travel time.
2. Unboxing & Liability
• Please do not open boxes before your appointment. If opened, FixTman cannot be held responsible for missing or damaged parts.
• The remaining balance is due once replacement parts are supplied (if applicable).
3. Moving & Haul-Away
• FixTman does not move, haul, or dispose of furniture or packaging.
• Please ensure items are in their final installation room before your technician arrives.
4. 30-Day Workmanship Guarantee
• Every service includes a 30-day warranty covering workmanship-related issues.
• This warranty excludes manufacturer defects, weak walls/floors, or misuse after installation.
• Warranty coverage applies only if FixTman is allowed to inspect and resolve the issue.
5. Refund & Service Policy
• Once work begins, service fees are non-refundable.
• If any issue arises from FixTman’s workmanship, we’ll repair or re-assemble at no charge.
• Product replacements or manufacturer defects are not covered.
6. Payment Policy
• A 20% deposit is required to schedule your service.
• Please do not pay the technician directly — all payments are securely processed through FixTman.
• Full payment is due upon completion of the job.
