My husband and I have had about 4 projects done by K.G. Remodeling in the past year. We were very pleased with all of the work performed. We had an old shed removed in our backyard, that was replaced with a new smaller custom built multipurpose shed. We also had Tuckpointing done and exterior paint done to give our home a much needed facelift! Now everyone that visits or passes by while we’re out in front of our home compliments how much they love our new look! We also had a basement area that needed some TLC, so Keith and crew transformed our old basement into a space that we could now use for storage and gave our laundry area a facelift as well. Our last project was a drainage issue near our patio backdoor. With Keith’s help, we came up with a solution to remove and repair some of the old concrete outside our backdoor and they installed a drainage system that drains the water away from that area. We will definitely be using K.G. Remodeling again in the future for some other projects that we have on our home repair/remodel list.

K.G. Remodelling completely redid my one bedroom unit in River North. Keith was helpful, very responsive to any questions and has eye for detail. He had a great custom cabinet maker that made a one of kind vanity and family room built ins. I am thrilled with the way my apartment turned out! It was a pleasure to work with Keith. I would highly recommend K.G. Remodelling.

We loved working with Keith. First, our master bathroom looks great. Everything was done to a high standard, and Keith even had his crew re-pour the shower floor (without my prompting) because he didn’t like how it came out. He always replied to me quickly when I texted (and sometimes I texted him with many, many questions). I definitely felt like Keith was on my team and had my best interests throughout the job. Timeline was pretty close to the original estimate (the extra time needed was because the counter people messed up - not Keith) and he still worked with the new timeline, no problem. The price was exactly as estimated. He is also a genuinely nice person- always positive and upbeat. I would definitely recommend Keith and his team to others looking to renovate!

As I was approaching the deadline for placing my home on the market, reliable, dependable contractors were difficult to find. Mr. Goodwin was recommended by my realtor. He and his team were punctual, professional, clean and respected my home. My list of jobs included electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing. KG Remodeling rose to the challenge. Their work was stellar. I should have no problems finding a buyer for my beautiful home.

I will not be the most expensive nor the most inexpensive, but we will deliver a quality product.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
introduction to get a feel for what client is looking to accomplish, then I would schedule an appointment for walkthrough. I would discuss exactly what clients vision is, time frame you're looking to start project, and any comments or concerns. I would then put together an itemized estimate and send to you for review.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sauk Area Career Center I graduated in 1984 as one of the top carpenters in the state.
