- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Taty Construction, honest pricing begins with understanding your complete vision. We prepare every proposal specifically for your project, considering the scope of work, labor, materials, design selections, existing conditions, required trades, permits, inspections, and anticipated timeline. Before you sign anything, we review the proposal with you in detail. We explain what is included, answer your questions, and make sure the plan reflects your priorities and approved budget. We believe customers should feel informed and confident—not confused or blindsided. If your original design, material selections, or desired scope exceeds your budget, we will tell you upfront and help identify practical alternatives. That may include selecting different materials, adjusting parts of the design, using another construction method, or completing the work in carefully planned phases. Our goal is to preserve what matters most to you while developing a financially responsible path forward. Our 30-plus years of relationships with trusted suppliers, highly qualified subcontractors, architects, engineers, designers, and skilled tradespeople allow us to provide excellent value without compromising essential quality. We never cut corners or submit an unrealistic price simply to win a project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every successful project begins with listening. We start with a detailed conversation about your vision, priorities, preferred design, budget, timeline, and expectations. Whether you are renovating one room or developing an entire property, you receive the same personal attention and respect. We then conduct an on-site walkthrough to inspect the property, take measurements, evaluate existing conditions, identify potential challenges, and discuss design and material options. This allows us to prepare a clear scope of work and a realistic construction plan. Next, we provide a detailed proposal explaining the work, pricing, responsibilities, material allowances, project requirements, and anticipated timeline. Before signing, we review the proposal with you so every major detail is understood. If part of the project exceeds your budget, we discuss alternatives before construction begins. Once approved, Taty Construction manages the process from pre-construction through final delivery. Depending on your project, that may include architects, engineers, design teams, permits, approvals, suppliers, material purchasing, subcontractors, skilled trades, inspections, code compliance, and Certificate of Occupancy delivery. During construction, we provide hands-on leadership and direct supervision. We ensure every trade has the correct plans, materials, equipment, and information to perform its work properly. Each phase is inspected for quality and carefully sequenced so one trade finishes correctly before the next begins. That level of planning is essential on complex homes such as our custom luxury residence, where custom cabinetry and millwork, a natural-stone waterfall island, glass stair railings, an indoor heated pool and spa, landscaping, and backup-power systems all had to come together as one cohesive finished home. You remain informed throughout the project. At completion, we conduct a detailed quality inspection and final walkthrough with you.
