Great experience! The handyman arrived on time, brought all the tools, and caulked my tub quickly. When the sealant began to peel the next day, I sent a photo, and he came back right away to fix it. He made sure the job was perfect and even gave helpful advice on other projects. Highly recommend!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally my payment rate is 50$ per hour. Minimal payment should be as for full 1hr, even if it requires 15min to do the job - remember, that I spent 30-60min on commuting to your house, burn fuel and Thumbtack also charges me for every customer's request 10-30$. If there are a bunch of small similar tasks - consider them as 1 task. Complex tasks, requiring preparation and meticulous approach - considered as separate tasks. 1hr10min considered as 2hrs, unless total was agreed earlier.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Define as much details as possible, make an estimate, schedule a visit. Do the job, make customer happy, ask for a review:)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I serviced own car by myself (including engine and automatic transmission) for 4 years, serviced my full suspension bicycle (including gears, brakes and suspension) - 6 years. last 3 years I did electric guitar restorations. last 1 year - assembled and continuously upgraded an astrograph (Newtonian telescope on a high precision equatorial mount to take extra-long exposure of a night sky). latest 6 years living in Ukraine I did everything around and in the house (eg renovations, different kinds of a repair, furniture assembly and installation or repair, appliances accembly, installation or repair, plumbing, electric services, painting and a lot of other things).
