I could give a brief review and just say how impressed and happy I was with their work, but that’s what a lot of people do for reviews without giving much detail as to why. I am happy, and will continue to use this contactor for flooring. And here’s why:
1. My wife and I shopped around and went to many flooring stores. I had a simple problem. The stairs in my condo. My wife wanted the grungy carpet removed, and replaced with the same floor planks to match our downstairs hardwood. Every place I called, never returned my call. A friend of a friend, recommended RM Flooring because he had the floors in his house sanded down and refinished. The pictures I saw were beautiful. So i decided to call, and When i called, I got an immediate response back. Unfortunately, he recommended that the stairs be rewrapped with carpet due to the design of the stairs and tar left on the wood. I appreciated that honesty instead of him coming up some idea to make something work, that might not work in the end. I kept his number.
2. My wife and I decided to renovate our single story home. So i called RM flooring. He was the quickest to respond. In the end we chose him and were not disappointed. I was disappointed because I knew I had to essentially move all of our crap out of the house (which he later said he could work around some of the furniture after I moved everything) but it was probably for the better. We picked what we wanted. He explained the difference in flooring types, which was an education in itself, and when I saw that the ugly vynal flooring that was underneath was pulled and the floor was properly installed. I was happy. No short cuts, no mess, no mistakes. And the molding wasn’t damaged. He wasn’t the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. It was a fair price considering that it was completely properly the first time. And they cleaned up after themselves. I didn’t have to clean after they left. Bye the way, I hated moving our old furniture back in. It made me want new furniture.
3. He’s a licensed contractor. And you’ll get solid workmanship. Hope my review helped.
