Alexia Kouklowsky

I am a native French speaker and I have been living in Chicago for 30 years. I graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1999 with a BA in French. I have continually been immersed in French culture and language with my family. As a real estate professional, I specialized in servicing French speaking clients. I am at a point in my career where I want to share my love for the French language and apply my linguistic skills to help students learn and practice. Real estate gives me a lot of flexibility, and has also taught me to be self-directed and to get things done efficiently. I am a highly energetic person with strong interpersonal and social skills, and I love to teach. I am patient, organized, and at the same time, I believe that learning should be fun.
