Farah was amazing. I went to her for my trial and it was so easy and relaxed, and the make up turned out great! On my wedding Farah was arrived right on time and was wonderful to work with. She did mine and one of my bridesmaids make up, and both of them turned out amazing! I got an insane amount of compliments on my big day! My make up stayed very well all day, even with the amount I cried. I would highly recommend Farah to anyone looking to get there make up done on their big day.Sep 26, 2016Verified
Farah was great to work with for the wedding. She was on time, and worked very quickly to get through the bridal party. The makeup lasted ALL DAY, even through the heat during photos. We all thought we would need to touch up our makeup before our Ceremony after being outside for a few hours for photos, but we got to the venue and everyone still looked flawless! Everyone looked great!Jun 7, 2016Verified
Farah is an amazing makeup artist and has done my Prom makeup two years in a row. I am so lucky to have found her. She was able to do all of the dramatic looks that I wanted, and they turned out beautifully. She really is talented and I would recommend her to anyone.May 31, 2016Verified
Farah was great and super professional. She was very detail oriented and made sure every detail was addressed and myself and my bridesmaids were looking amazing. All of our age up stayed all day, despite the fact I cried multiple times. She was fantastic!Apr 11, 2016Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Absolutely. I continue to take workshops at MakeUp First School of Chicago, with MAC Cosmetics, and whenever I attend professional beauty shows. I also follow many accomplished makeup artists in the media and keep up to date with new products and techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I absolutely loved makeup from a very young age, and started to get my hands on it as a teenager. I was the friend doing everyone's makeup for parties and events. However, I did not start considering it as a profession until some years ago. I went to college for Psychology and worked in the mental health/social work field for several years (another passion of mine). My dream is to blend both lines of work one day.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I would say weddings are the most sought after jobs that I do. Also beauty and professional head shots.
