Okay…I had to take some time to write this review. I want to start off saying that Ron had very good communication before the move and the guys were very professional. Let’s get into why I only gave 3 stars. I really should only be giving 2. I confirmed a date/time with Ronald to move me on, Friday, Sept. 29th at 2:00 pm. I received a text message from Ronald stating that he would be there at 3:00 pm., due to the person before me had more items then she stated. A little closer to 3, I received another text message from Ronald stating they will be there at 5:00. I had to leave and get keys to my apartment, but my husband was home to direct them. Ronald and his guys arrived at 5:30pm. I arrived shortly after.
Maybe about an hour into the move I notice my sectional had not been moved. I asked Ron about it. He advised that my husband stated that it wasn’t going( my husband stated that is a lie. He told him everything upstairs was going. I was adamant that my sectional had to go. Ron and his team moved some things around on the truck took some things off and still were unable to fit my entire sectional on the truck. There were a lot of items left that could have fit into the truck if it had been packed correctly.
I had my fireplace, tv stand, bar, and corner piece of sectional that was left behind. We finally got to our destination and I was surprised that Ron did not (10%, 20%, etc..) offer any type of discount for the inconvenience. One of his guys even dropped my Jewelry armoire in the elevator right in front of me. Flabbergasted to be exact. My master bedroom door has a crack in it from which I believe they may have hit it with my headboard.( never mentioned it). I did a complete walk through that morning. The crack wasn’t there.
I had to hire another moving company to move the rest of my furniture. Moving is never easy nor fun, but when you hire a moving company. You want them to be on time, and correct any issue that may have come along that they caused. Ron didn’t care how those 3 hours really messed up my day. Unclear if I will use them again or recommend due to not trying to make the inconvenience right on there end. His guys worked fast, and very professional.
