Jessica has an excellent work ethic, is very hard working, and personable yet professional. She was the perfect person to help me de-clutter (2 vans full of donations, many filled 13 gallon garbage bags with trash. Jessica was nonjudgemental and understanding from the moment she walked into my apartment, which helped me be objective in what items needed to go and stay.
Because we didn’t finish in the quoted project time-line, she will return again to help get rid of any left over “fluff,” and help me with styling my decor.
I would (and have) recommend Bloomjoy HomeOrganizing to my friends.

Jess saved my room- and so much more. From our first communication to the in-person session, she was incredibly helpful and supportive. She guided me ahead of time on what I could do to get the most out of our time together, while also reassuring me that it was okay if I couldn’t get through everything on my own.
My room (pictured w/ the grey blue bedding) was filled with all my clutter and clothes I didn’t know where to put in my room. I did my best to declutter a bit before getting overwhelmed and frustrated. When Jess arrived, she walked through every part of my room with me. She truly listened, understood what held value to me, and found thoughtful ways to showcase those things instead of just hiding them away.
What meant the most is that she taught me along the way. She never once made me feel embarrassed or ashamed of my mess. I felt seen, supported, and genuinely taken care of. Jess doesn’t just “do it” for you-if you’re willing, she teaches you systems that actually help you maintain your space so it doesn’t get out of hand again.
After our session, I went on a trip and went straight into finals. Thanks to the systems she put in place and everything having a true home, I was able to get my room back in order with no problem at all.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
- Complimentary initial 30 minute phone call.
- Initial in-person 60 min. consult is $85 (within city limits); or complimentary 30 min. Zoom consult (this is to discuss your projects and plan for product purchase, if needed).
- Hourly rate of $85; MINIMUM 6-hr booking, maximum 8-hr booking
- Each additonal person (organizer assistant) is $55-65 per person.
- Additional $10/hr for garages and unfinished basements.
- Additional donation trip service $75 per carload.
- Additional mileage fee applies.
- Pre-paid packages with discounts available.
- Booking fee is $95 which will be applied to session unless cancelled.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- Our initial phone consultation is when you share about your project(s), your roadblocks, needs, goals + visions for the space so that I can best understand how to transform the space.
- We will then work together on scheduling a session or sessions. If needed, we will schedule a walk-through appointment for measuring + product suggestions.
- Schedule can be expedited in certain situations.
- I'm able to work independently, alongside you, or a combination of the two.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- I completed a Bachelors degree in Urban Planning from The University of Illinois at Chicago school of Urban Planning & Public Policy. I studied the affects of "place" on our well-being, gained spatial + planning skills and honed my innate design skills.
- I have a work background in various design related positions.
- I am a life-long learner, consistently reading + learning from home organization and design experts, and neuroscience experts and expanding my understanding + knowledge.
