John Manning Photography
About this pro
John is extremely talented and will make you look your best. I typically do not like photos of myself, but I love the final photo John produced. He truly is an artist. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a high-quality photo!Apr 12, 2018Verified
John communicated well and responded quickly to our inquiries. The value and quality of work he provided was great! We will definitely be referring friends and coming back to use his business again. He was very down to earth too. His studio is located in downtown and easy to find. Afterwards, he sent us a lot of pictures to choose. We are very happy with his service!Jan 10, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?• $125 for studio headshots. Includes full, custom retouching and preparation of final files in several sizes and formats • $225 for location shots (inside and outside) My pricing depends on the assignment and the amount of time required in shooting and in post-production. I always try to keep my quotes as affordable and competitive as possible, using the efficiency gained from extensive experience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Get the details and needs of the project. Ask client if there's a certain look they need to achieve or if they need some help and ideas in determining that look. it's best to make sure we're on the same page before the shoot, so we both have a target goal we're aiming at.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've studied extensively for more than 35 years in photography, imaging, graphic design, digital retouching and manipulation of images, including compositing of several images into one new image. I've studied web design, animation, and video production and editing. I've participated in workshops with many of the world's top photographers. Before becoming a photographer, while working as a creative in advertising, I studied print design and branding.
