Melissa helped with our posing and also gave tips on what to wear when seeking her advice for a fall look. She also had a great list of places we could choose from when I asked for help on locations. We chose to have our shoot at Olive park in Chicago which we received the amount of time we paid for. We were most impressed with the quality of the pictures. They turned out great! They look very professional and our family/friends loved them as well. One way Melissa went above and beyond is when she offered and suggested taking more pictures even though there was only a few minutes left. I felt that if we wanted to take a few more over the time we paid she would of had been willing to do so. My husband felt she could have given more pose suggestions, I felt that she did fine. We would have liked if Melissa would have informed us when our hair was out of place or when our clothing need adjustments. Although I could understand why she would have felt uncomfortable to do so the gesture would have been nice. Might I say the wind was crazy that day you would have never guessed looking at Melissa's work from our shoot. It was amazing and we loved the quality. Her work looks like something you would see in a magazine or on a billboard. I also love her website and I would definitely recommend her. My feedback for Melissa to better improve future services would be to not be afraid to help with those small imperfections such as clothes, hair and poses or with any suggestions she may have. Overall our experience was great and the work fantastic! We are more than satisfied!

This is my first time using Thumbtack and definitely not my last. Melissa was absolutely wonderful to work with. We went with Iron & Honey Photography because the prices were reasonable and I loved Melissa's photography style. We had her shoot our family portrait with our dog in Lincoln Park, and let me tell you it was not easy keeping a dog engaged and looking at the camera for 2 hours. Melissa was very professional and understanding. I was worried we didn't get many shots with our dog looking at the camera and I was pleasantly surprised and fell in love with ALL the photos. She didn't make us wait that long for the photos either which we really appreciated.

Melissa was an amazing photographer to work with! She met us at Chicago Cultural Center and started taking photos right away! She guided us on poses, as well as, letting us pick. We walked all over the Cultural Center and took pictures in every available room, she didn't mind going the extra mile to get that perfect shot. We really love how our pictures turned out and would definitely recommend her to family and friends. Not only that, we will without a doubt love to work with her again! Thank you Melissa!
