FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am at the beginning of my journey as a professional portrait photographer, so am open to shooting a wide range of jobs and do not have a set pricing system at this time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn as much as possible about new clients expectations and needs, so I often ask a few very tailored questions before moving forward with a shoot. I am available for their questions as well, and my goal is to walk in to every shoot with our visions for the final product completely alligned.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My undergraduate degree is in psychology from the University of Michigan (go blue!), and though not directly related to photography, it did satisfy the curiosity about people that underlies my work and is one of my favorite things about working as a photographer. I completed a post-grad program at The International Center of Photography in New York in 2007, and have assisted a long list of talented professional photographers on all types of shoots ranging from fashion to commercial to personal work.
