- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For leasing we charge 1 month's rent to find new tenants. You pay nothing upfront, and your price includes professional photography, 3D Virtual Tours, a down-to-the-inch floorplan, and advertising on Cribspot and dozens of free and premium websites (like Domu). For property management, we want to get to know your property and your situation before giving you a quote. We understand that every property is different and want to work to find a pricing structure that works for everyone. We nearly always beat our competitor's pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with an onboarding meeting. Here you'll get to know your Cribspot Chicago City Manager. They'll collect information on your properties, your tenants, access information, preferred contractors, and other information to help us manage your property. We'll then schedule a time to create a virtual tour, take professional photography, and complete an initial walkthrough. We'll introduce ourselves to your tenants, answer their questions, and onboard them to their Cribspot Home dashboard.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We've been around since 2013 and have surrounded ourselves with a skilled and experienced team. Our maintenance team has decades of combined experience. Our technology team hails from top tech companies, including Yahoo, Microsoft, Yelp, Cisco, and Boeing. Members of our leasing and property management team have leased thousands of apartments and built up their own portfolios of Chicago investment properties.
