My husband and I spent quite a bit of time looking for the right artisan to re-upholster our 1970s-era dining room chairs. During our search, we encountered so many vendors who automatically quoted exorbitantly high prices site unseen. Every one of them insisted that we would need to replace the padding even before they saw the chairs, and the pick up and delivery charges were almost the cost of the work itself!
When searching on Thumbtack, I found Pedro's. From our first conversation, I was put at ease. Pedro did not present any solutions before checking out the chairs themselves. Once he came over and looked at the set, he agreed that the padding was fine. He also provided hundreds of options for patterns and materials. One of the many things that we appreciated about Pedro was his professionalism. He did not try to push us into expensive fabric selections. He began by showing us fabrics that he already had in stock and could offer at a lower rate. My husband and I made our selection, and we scheduled a time for pick up. Promptly at the agreed upon time and date, Pedro was there and carefully loaded all of the chairs into his van. One week later, we received our finished chairs.
They are amazing! They look even better than we had hoped. We carefully inspected the workmanship and stitching. All are top notch, and the chairs look as if they were originally manufactured with this fabric in mind. None of the chairs had scratches on their wood finishes (the finish is of a type that scratches easily, and we were prepared to deal with a few just due to transport). Pedro was so careful that from the time he picked them up through the time he returned them, there was NO damage to the chair frames. He also took the extra step of adding bumpers to the chair legs, as he noticed our wood floors during our consultation and wanted to prevent scratches. Now THAT is service.
My husband and I have found our goto person for all of our upholstery needs now and in the future. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Pedro's and HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to everyone (and will be doing so to people in our social circle as often as we can).

I love Pedro's work. I used him a few years ago to repair some chairs and a table they came out great. I recently call him again to reupholster a sofa for me. He brought samples to my home and order the fabricor me. I love my new sofa!! If you need a good upholstery guy call Pedro.

Pedro did an excellent job! I gave him a big challenge. My dog made a big hole on my sofa and I asked Pedro to repair it, the thing is that fixing the hole was not the problem, finding the fabric was the problem. It was because there was not other fabric similar to the color and texture of my sofa and I needed to look exactly as it was before. Pedro made it possible. Now it looks like nothing happened. Besides that, Pedro fixed it as soon as possible and was able to get it ready before Christmas. I am super satisfied with his job, he is professional, responsible, and reliable. And the price is fair. I highly recommend Pedro, I am sure that he will give you the best solution! You can see the before and after pictures to see the difference (looks different in color due to the lighting but is the same one)

I can tell you about the quality when I get the loveseat back in mid September, but I am confident he will do a great job.
Now we have our beautiful loveseat back from Pedro. He did an excellent, professional job. It looks like new. I have recommended him to all my friends and we have had nothing but compliments from those who have seen it. He finished and delivered in record time. I highly recommend his services. Plus, his price was very reasonable!
