FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge a flat rate for services. For photo, I provide 2 viewing galleries with my site. 1st is the favorite picks, 2nd are the redundant and behind-the-scenes photos. Then digital copies are given via Dropbox, with full resolution and optimized resolution copies (optimized resolution work better for social media).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically prefer to meet in person over coffee, especially for larger events. Then we decide to work together, we go through pricing and contract information. I like to follow up just before the day or days of a shoot. We shoot. Then during post-production I prefer to stay in contact, until the final product is approved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of what I have learned has been "self-taught" on YouTube, but I prefer not to take credit for what has been taught to me for "free." I currently study economics and finance at school, and I study film in my free time. I believe all of this adds up to a better finished product, as I help consider the components of business such as marketing and scalability from the start of the project.
