- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Even the simplest project there are at least 10-15 questions I must get the answers to in order to give a realistic cost estimate. Beware of anyone who gives you a price without asking for many details.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make it quick and easy, perhaps several emails back and forth and a phone call. I make sure we are a good fit and if not I can refer someone I know is competent.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an apprentice to one of Chicago's top cameramen after attending film school. Then I was an assistant cameraman for several years.
