As a professional violinist and educator, I help young string players develop the skills, confidence, and artistry needed to achieve their musical goals. My experience includes serving as Music Director of Chicago's Classical Symphony Orchestra and Protégé Philharmonic, teaching violin, viola, conducting, and orchestra for 36 years at North Park University and Northeastern Illinois University, and spending 11 summers on the faculty of the renowned Sewanee Summer Music Center. I studied with internationally acclaimed artists Shmuel Ashkenasi and Pierre Menard of the Vermeer Quartet.
