FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the project, access to the work area, and materials required. For smaller projects I can often provide estimates based on photos, while larger jobs typically require a site visit so I can provide an accurate quote. I focus on delivering clean, durable work rather than rushing through jobs, so my pricing reflects proper preparation, protection of the home, and quality materials. When possible I try to offer efficient solutions that help customers stay within their budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process usually starts with a quick phone call or message to understand the scope of the project. From there I review photos or schedule a visit if needed. After evaluating the work, I provide a clear estimate outlining the scope, materials, and timeline. Once the project begins, I make sure the work area is properly protected and kept clean. Communication is important to me, so I keep customers informed throughout the project until everything is completed and reviewed together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience comes primarily from hands-on work in drywall, painting, and interior renovation projects. My father was a drywall finisher and warranty repair specialist for a large drywall company, which exposed me early on to the importance of precision and long-term quality solutions. Over the years I’ve worked on everything from small residential repairs to larger remodeling projects, developing strong attention to detail with drywall finishing, surface preparation, coatings, and soundproofing systems. I also hold a Schluter certification related to tile and waterproofing systems. Continuous learning through industry materials, supplier resources, and real-world project experience has been key to refining my approach and delivering durable results.
