- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are based on the type of ceremony you will have, As of 7/2025 the scale is as follows; Elopement: $150 (within 3 days of contact) $175 (planned for later date): Vow Renewal & Commitment Ceremonies: $300: Fee based on type of ceremony $500-$600 . Ceremonies that take place on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day, Fourth of July, Memorial & Labor Day Weekend will incur an additional 10% charge. Consultations are FREE. There may be additional fees if travel is more than 20 miles outside of Chicago proper, parking, etc. All of these items are discussed and agreed upon prior to signing of Contract/Agreement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak with you (FREE Consultation) on the phone or (depending on the time frame), we can set up a time to meet, via phone or ZOOM. We will discuss your vision for the ceremony, including timeline expectations, make choices for marriage and ring vows, readings, etc. A lot of the latter information depends on the length of time we have between initial meeting and wedding date. Elopements include a FREE short phone consult (if time permits).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an Officiant for 11 years. I am also a wedding assistant at my church (16 years). This knowledge is a plus, therefore, I include running the rehearsal process in my package if requested. I have also been an event planner so, I am very aware of the structure of ceremonies in a variety of venues.
