I'm 100% Satisfied with MK Event Photo! I hired him for my daughters Wedding! Largest Photo Booth ever ! It sure held a lot of our guest ! My guest were telling me that they were so friendly & professional he had tons of Props! I sure would hire him again in a heartbeat!

I had an MK Photo Event photo booth at my wedding in September and I loved it! The set up was spacious, there were plenty of props, and the photo strips printed fast and were great quality. Mike was extremely professional and helpful throughout the whole experience. Many guests told me how much they enjoyed the photo booth and I am very glad I chose MK Photo Event. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

I hired SMK Photobooths for my son's birthday party. It was a last minute decision on my part and they were more than happy to work with my schedule. From the get go their service was outstanding! Michael reached out to me immediately to work on the customization of the photo strip. He helped with ideas and the end result was fantastic! He also helped me pick the type of booth that was best for the party and explained the add-on's they offered. I went with the open booth and am so happy I did! There were a lot of kids at the party and the booth was able to fit a large group! They also had a great selection of props and the kids enjoyed the fact that they could change between shots! It was definitely the highlight of the party! Not only did my son and his friends have a great time, but the adults had a blast with it too! The staff was very professional, helpful and so much fun! They made sure everyone was having a good time and they were great with the kids!! I highly recommend SMK Photobooths for anyone's next event. The quality of their photos is amazing as is their service. Thank you for helping my son make some great memories!

We hired Michael for our wedding in the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago and it was awesome. Michale was very responsive and communicative leading up to the event, offering us many options for the booth set up, timing, and sent several proofs of our personalized photo print sheets. The guests all loved the booth and the dozens of fun and creative props he brought were a real hit! He set the photo booth up nicely, offering us many options for our backdrop (we chose a silver fringe). Michael's booth was as perfect for pairs as it was for large groups, including fun shots we got of the whole wedding party and others we got to see later of groups of friends. He printed out all the pictures and placed them in a cute book for us, and guests were able to write notes all around them. We will treasure this book forever. What set Michael's booth apart was that because he ran the high-quality camera beside the monitor, the quality of the photos themselves was far higher than I have seen at any other booth setup. We would highly recommend MK for your event!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out their needs, educate them as to my offerings and how I differ from others. I also describe the services and work flow and gather information from them to draw up the contract. I customize the photo print layout for them and ensure they approve of the design and any changes necessary. On the day of service, I arrive about 60 minutes prior to start to setup.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have several years of photography and Information Technology experience which aids in the technical aspect of photo booth work. I also have several years of experience working events as well as years of experience in customer service orientated work which aids in working with guests and clients to ensure friendly, prompt and quality service.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm already a portrait and event photographer, this is just adding a service in a similar field but even more fun. People can be intimidated by a photographer with a giant camera and flash, nobody is afraid of a photo booth. ...OK, most people are not intimidated by a booth, usually it's wonder or curiosity. =)
