I have taken both private and group lessons with Tara. As a beginning yoga student it was important that I get the individual instruction so that I could get the attention that I needed to participate in group activities. Tara was incredibly patient and helped me both understand the postures and modify them so I was getting the most out of them. I suspect individual instruction with Tara would benefit anyone no matter what prior experience they may have had with yoga. Group classes have their benefits but if one needs to refine their techniques, learn new ones or, like me, is a beginner I would recommend individual lessons. Tara is passionate about yoga and an excellent teacher. A ideal person to study with.

Tara is an excellent teacher with strong knowledge, expertise and a compassionate approach to her process. Her attention to alignment and form is very precise which was important to prevent injury and foster healing. I had the good fortune to study with her for 12 years and felt our work together was a significant factor improving my overall health. She is well grounded in the many aspects of finding healing and balance in life through yoga practice and philosophy. Highly recommended.

Tara has been my yoga instructor for nearly 12 years. I take group classes 1-2 days a week, she is incredibly patient & aware of individual needs. I have enjoyed her classes & the health benefits that they have given me. I would never use another yoga instructor, she is awesome.

I've been taking yoga classes with Tara for nearly 10 years. She's an excellent teacher who encourages proper alignment in the postures. I especially like that she's able to tailor classes and offer alternative poses to all students abilities.
