FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the guest count, my hourly rates are anywhere from $30-50 an hour. The only fees that would ever be applied at the end of the night would be an extra 25% of the total price if the host preferred there to be no tip jar. Other than that, whether I have one bartender or three bartenders, the rate we discuss at the time of the deal is not going to change or have hidden fees. I also like my customers to know that I do provide fruit garnishes, bottle openers, and wine keys myself with no charge to you. Those are items I like to provide myself as I am very particular in what tool I use to open wine bottles as some wine keys have been known to taint the wine and spoil the aromas.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was raised in a family full of restaurant entrepreneurs along w having expertise in hospitality such as hotels, theaters, etc. I never expected to fall into this industry, and especially at the age of 19. But , it was something that I couldn’t keep from wanting to do. I would be more concerned if my guests coffee was hot enough or if their steak was made to their likening, more than I would concern myself w any of my own issues. My guests were my priority and I’ve done nothing more but deepen my obligation to that throughout my 19 year career.
