No need to add a picture here, because what I had for Curt was not an easy job with a "look good" ending. I have a pull-down ladder door to my attic over my basement stairs. One of the strangest oddities I've seen in a home. Anyway, it has not seated properly since I have been here (2012-2023), to the point of there being water that drips from the handrail of the stairs in the summer because the heat and humidity comes through from the attic, causing the growth of black mold on the walls, and in the winter the cold pervades the house, and the heat, likewise, escapes into the attic. It's probably cost me hundreds, maybe even thousands, over the last decade, not to mention the terrible breathing problems from the mold. The door was off level and the job was not an easy fix. However, Curt, a clear professional, did the dirty work and got it done to the point of a perfect seal, where the light from the attic didn't even shine through. He also changed out a plumbing line to one of my toilets and built a brace for some of my cabinets that have settled a bit and pulled down from the ceiling about 1/4" - 3/8" or so. All this was done in a timely manner, saving me high labor costs. In the end, his price was more than reasonable. I have had people from Thumbtack try and take me for a ride with labor costs before. They have never gotten a return call. Curt? He will definitly get any, and every bit, of handy-work I have a need for in the future! I simply cannot recommend him enough! Mr. Hollingshead, thank you, sir!
