He was great to work with initially, and I was very happy with his responsiveness while the work was being completed. I truly appreciated the effort he put in at the time. The reason I can’t give a full 5-star rating is because it’s important for contractors to ensure their work holds up over time. One area where he installed a kitchen cabinet has since become loose, and it appears that whatever was used to secure it has loosened. Additionally, when installing my bathroom vanity, I wasn’t given any guidance or suggestions about protecting the wall from water exposure. Unfortunately, the paint behind the vanity has now started to chip. As a first-time homebuyer who was very excited about renovations, I would have valued and taken seriously any advice from an experienced contractor. The work was completed in 2024, and for well over a year I have reached out—offering to pay—for these issues to be fixed. Communication has been inconsistent. When he does respond, he mentions being busy, but follow-through has been lacking. I even agreed to the price he quoted to fix my kitchen island side panel and cabinet. He did come once, about a year ago, to look at the items I wanted addressed, but said he was busy building a home. Now in 2026, I’ve reached out again. He has responded, but when I ask to confirm a date, I don’t receive a reply. This is disappointing because my husband and I are very loyal to people we hire and often give repeat business. This could have been a great long-term working relationship, but the lack of follow-up and support after the job was completed has been frustrating.

We had an amazing experience with Daniel from Dak construction. From start to finish. He responds very quickly and was right on time. He is very professional and knowledgeable. Daniel knows what he is doing and did a fantastic job! Great quality work. We had all new doors and trim installed and he took his time and made sure they were installed perfectly. We will definitely be using him again for several more projects we have coming up.

We had a front door and storm door installed. He took care of it quickly and for a great price. A few days later, we had him remove an exterior door and install a window. We're very happy with the final result and hope he'll come back to do more work for us in the future.

We are so impressed by Daniel’s work! We purchased a shower door which requires a wider threshold than our curb. Daniel came and purchased all the materials, cut to size, made a new wider curb and installed our shower door in 4 hours! It was beautifully done and came out just the way we envisioned. It made my day!
