Dr. Powers has been a great source of strength and support for my family and I in some of the most difficult situation. Truly a gifted clinician.
She worked with our son who has autism. She was flexible, understanding, compassionate and very caring. She was with us for one year and her relationship with our family was professional and productive.
Giulia is a reliable, professional, and highly competent colleague. I greatly value the opportunity I have been afforded in working with Giulia, to consult and network, as we both navigate the challenges and rewards of the counseling field. The combination of Giulia's advanced clinical skills, passion for helping others, and ability to care for her own needs, makes Giulia especially suited for counseling work. I highly recommend Giulia Casani.
Pastor Leeroy Coleman performed a funeral service for my Father. He assisted in various ways in the planning and preparation of the funeral. It was immensely appreciated , because it was a time that was so difficult to concentrate and focus during such a stressful time. He was professional, yet extremely empathetic. Extremely patient. He customized the service just to suit our needs. He helped us all during our grieving period and followed up with us after. Everything he did, my family and I were so touched, Blessed and appreciated his service. I have also used Pastor Coleman to perform my wedding ceremony, and he also exercised his professionalism with us. He gave us an amazing wedding ceremony. Pastor Coleman has performed numerous weddings, funerals, baby dedications for many people that I know. He has also helped families through sicknesses and tragedies. I know everyone was quite happy and extremely grateful for his kind services to them. He tailors his service to suit each family, because each of us are unique in our mourning etc. I would not hesitate one bit to recommend Pastor Leeroy Coleman as a Pastor that can perform all these service and more while showing families, love, sympathy, empathy, patience, thoughtfulness for whatever their need be. His Ministry is a Blessing to us all. I will continue to use his services, and to recommend him to others. Audrey Powell
My wife and I have seen Katerina on and off for the last year. We began with her prior to getting married to work on communication, working through differences and building on our relationship. There were times where Katerina was able to explain to us how each other felt but always maintained a neutral position. We have never felt as though she has picked one side or the other. We have even been to see her separately in order for her to gain a better understanding into our personalities. At times, it was difficult to see why we needed to continue with the meetings, but Katerina's calm demeanor and ability to problem solve has truly meant the difference. We continue to see her intermittently in order to continue to address our differences in order to make sure we continue to grow as a couple and eventually a family. I would absolutely recommend Katerina to any individual or couple for therapeutic services. Her commitment to her patients and her craft truly show with each session. I highly recommend her.
She is very easy to talk to and both of us feel comfortable having her as our relationship counselor.
Brian R. King specializes in being a relationship teacher. However, from my personal experience of having the opportunity to be coached by him, his skills, abilities, and talents absolutely exceed way past the surface of just relationships. For more than 22 years now I've sought help, guidance, and advice. I have hired and or worked with many counselors, therapists, psychologists, psychotherapists, coaches, and teachers throughout various periods in my life. (I am currently 34 years young). Even though I am not that mature when it comes to the years I've lived, I have been through a lot of difficult and traumatic events that would have broken most people. So, I know a thing or two when it comes to the arena of teaching/coaching/being counseled etc. Earlier this year I had wanted to hire a life coach and actively started looking at options of who to utilize, and not because things were going bad in my life or because I needed help dealing with a traumatic event like I generally did in the past, but because I finally figured out my purpose in life and wanted to excel the process of being the best version of my self that I could be. Before deciding to choose Brian I spent a good chunk of time researching countless individuals who not only claim to help transform your life & get you to where you want to be, but who wouldn't break my piggy bank in the process. Out of all the options I had looked at and considered, I finally decided to go with Brian. What was cool is that I had already known him for quite some time & even interviewed him for my video series called, "Inspiring People Doing Amazing Things In Life." Why Brian out of everyone else? You may be asking... I chose him for many obvious reasons, but what really stood out to me in comparison to all the rest was his diversity and the "realness" of his own life experiences that he has had, gone through, and not only resiliently bounced back from, but has applied all that he's learned and turned it around into helping/guiding/teaching others as they go through their own personal Journey. Also, Brian has the traditional "credible" educational experience, but I personally think outside of the classroom and in this game of life is where the real qualifications come from. It's been a little over 8 weeks now from when I started the journey of having him teach/coach/counsel/mentor me and began his process of unique teachings and concepts. Now, I am genuinely writing this, not because anyone asked me to but because I really want to share with you all my perspective about what he does, based on my own personal experience. I find Brian to be one of the most uniquely brilliant people I have ever encountered and I feel that everyone should know this. This man has amazed the heck out of me...he goes above and beyond to help in every way he can...has such a compassionate, sincere, caring, and genuine approach to everything he assists me on...and has been able to help me in so many ways that he probably isn't even aware of. Brian has helped me to have more effective communication in all areas of my life. He has introduced new concepts to me so that I know the best way to have proper and healthy self-expression. He has heightened my already advanced sense of self-awareness in ways I never imagined or thought possible. I have learned from him how to better handle and respond to experiences in my life both favorable and unfavorable...how to prioritize my time, priorities, and schedule in a unique way that works best for me...how to shift my perspective and perceptions to see others' points of views in a way where I can be more relatable with them...and he has influenced my life in so many ways that I am in awe every day, literally! Other people in my life that personally know me have noticed the transformational shifts that have been taking place and continue to take place within myself, my attitude, and my actions since I've been working with Brian. I really feel that my decision to hire Brian has been one of the best decisions I've made in a really long time and I am forever changed for the better in many ways. I can't even imagine how much more growth that is going to take place or the person I will have become a year from now as I continue to learn from him, follow his guidance, and take action on applying his suggestions. I am so grateful and thankful for this strategic and effective human being...he is truly one of a kind! I would encourage anyone who wants to better themselves in any area of their life to work with Brian and magically discover, just like I have, what ways yourself and your life transcends. I know that if after reading all of this, which is just my personal feedback and perspective, and now knowing all that I've described above...you are most likely going to be compelled to at least give yourself (if you want) the opportunity to grow and blossom into the beautiful person that you are meant to be...Brian has helped many, many people do just that. After all, life is a process and a journey to experience where there is never a destination...until it's your time to physically leave this realm. Make the most out of it while you can! I am grateful that I do! ☺️😉🙏 ~💖~Tiffany Tee~🌟~Always #Love 💖~ "Wake-Up To To Your Human #Potential & Realize The #Infinite Conscious Being That You Are! In the summer of 2014 I began counseling with MABEL. This was a turning point in my life. MABEL helped me through a difficult divorce, and a family members addiction. Through counseling, I was able to Identify my values and passions. To address life's problems with strategies instead of emotions. I am a licensed professional counselor in Illinois and began working as a therapist in August 2012. I have been providing in-home social services since May 2006, and I believe working with clients in-home can have many benefits. I specialize in individual, couples, and family therapy. I work with clients to understand where they struggle as well as their strengths in order to develop a diagnosis and treatment plan.
I am working from a multi-generational perspective. I work with families, couples, and individuals to identify and address unhealthy patterns in their life.
I help families, couples and individuals to understand the underlying, root causes of their hardships, with the aim to strengthen healthy patterns, while minimizing unhealthy ones. On the way, I help people to learn to handle more effectively their struggles and the discomfiting realities that aggravate their lives - realities that stir up the feelings of depression, anxiety, turmoil and anger that first brought them to look for counseling. Sometimes, our lives have disturbing external realities that can be altered, but too often, external changes are impossible. When this is the case, then, I assist clients to learn ways to develop the inner strengths which will help them search for effective ways to live in and cope with constructive harmony with these realities. Every person who walks into my office is unique. Each views the world from the specific vantage point of the values, needs, style and beliefs that upbringing and nature have encouraged her or him to develop. In honoring such, I respectfully relate to each client's individuality, whether as a family, couple or individual. In working with families and couples, I aim to discover, constructively resolve and help understand the underlying issues which lie behind the negative patterns and resulting hurts which have created the unhappiness that prodded them to seek help through counseling.
