A little bit about our project:
When my husband and I purchased our home in 2024, we knew we wanted to expand the kitchen to create a larger entertaining space. We received a few estimates, but ultimately decided on Lubinski Remodeling as their price felt most fair for the scope of work. We found them on Thumbtack.
We wanted to:
1. Remove a load-bearing wall between our kitchen and dining room
2. Replace closet space with a pantry, coffee bar, and space for a fridge
3. Reroute and add outlets
Everyone who helped complete the work was very respectful of our home. They included us in every decision, but the process never felt overwhelming. I appreciated the options they offered with clear explanation for the pros/cons of each. Their payment plan was also clear and fair. They take Zelle, ACH, or check, which offers plenty of flexibility.
Working with Lubinski was a phenomenal experience. They were communicative, kind, and diligent. I cannot believe this project took less than 3 weeks to complete. We are simply in love with the results.

I hired them to insulate my second floor (an attic that had been converted into living space) and upgrade the HVAC system to improve the temperature upstairs. Before this project, the second floor was basically unlivable. It was an actual oven in the summer and freezing in the winter.
After having some frustrating experiences with other contractors on different home projects, I was honestly nervous going into this one. Fortunately, Christian was responsive whenever I had questions or concerns, and most importantly, they accomplished exactly what I hired them to do. My second floor is finally comfortable and usable.
I especially appreciated that when unexpected issues came up, Christian addressed them instead of cutting corners. My house presented a few challenges, but he made adjustments so the final result still met my needs. That gave me confidence that he genuinely cared about the quality of the work and about making sure I was happy with the outcome.
The crew as a whole was hardworking and professional. Ivan, who was at my house almost every day for three weeks, deserves special recognition. He was polite, took pride in his work, and clearly cared about doing the job well. The HVAC company they recommended was also excellent to work with.
The only negative part of my experience involved the field “manager”, Thomas. He needs to be more respectful of customers, their homes, and what he chooses to say within earshot of homeowners. There were moments that I found unprofessional and unnecessary. (Fortunately, Christian took my concerns seriously and made sure they were addressed.) That experience wasn’t representative of the rest of the team, and it doesn’t change the fact that I’m very happy with the finished project.
Overall, I’m glad I hired them. My upstairs is finally usable living space, the work was done well, and I appreciate everything Christian and the crew did for me. (My dog even liked everyone, which probably mattered the most 😆✌️🤗)

DEPENDABLE, GO-TO for ALL HOME PROJECTS
Large or small, Lubinski can tackle it all. I had accumulated a range of tasks around the house - swapping out kitchen faucet; bathroom fixtures; hanging pictures… to much larger projects like installing a feature Slat Wall and replacing drywall around a previous leaking window.
Scheduling for all this took no time at all - projects complete in less than 2 weeks. The Crew was amazing!! Excellent, clear communication. True craftsmen at their job. We encountered an issue in the slat wall which was no fault of theirs and I was so surprised and truly appreciative of all the thought and work they put in to overcome it. No shortcuts!! They want to see you satisfied.
Good communication as aspects of the project changed. Had Christian and his team expand from a drywall repair, to flooring, painting and windows. All workers were nice, polite and did good work. Would recommend.
