I hired “The clean Team” for a $225 move-in cleaning special. Initially, she explained that her rate was $50/hour (2-hour minimum), but offered the $225 flat-rate move-in cleaning. Before booking, I specifically asked what was included, and she sent me her move-in cleaning checklist. I also made it clear that my priority areas were the blinds, windows, and closets.

We agreed she would come Friday morning, but she didn’t arrive until after 5:00 PM. She spent about 3 hours cleaning.

I want to be fair—she did an excellent job on the bathroom. However, I was disappointed that the very areas I specifically requested were left incomplete. The closets still had noticeable dust, and the windows, window tracks, and blinds were not cleaned to the standard described in the move-in cleaning checklist. I documented everything with photos.

When I reached out, she acknowledged the missed areas and offered to return or provide a $30 partial refund, referring to it as a “courtesy” refund. I explained that another visit would require me to rearrange my schedule and be present again, so I asked whether she could return that day or, if not, if she would consider a $50 partial refund instead. After that, I never received another response. Pretty much ghosted
