- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer guaranteed upfront pricing for most projects. We have an estimating system that calculates the majority of product prices and labor rates. Rarely are two projects exactly the same so we may ask for pictures or an onsite visit in order to generate guaranteed pricing and completion timelines.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At The Resolute Building Group we pride ourselves in delivering a completed project that meets or exceeds our clients expectations. With this client central focus in mind, we start the process by conducting an onsite or phone interview in order to ask the appropriate questions while truly listening to what client is communicating. For larger projects, we would prefer to meet at the project location so that we get the opportunity meet the client and review the project in person. Approximately 90%+ of the time we are able to uncover or suggest items the client hadn't thought about or didn't know were available. After the initial meeting is complete we will be able to provide a proposal onsite or within 1-2 business day for medium to larger projects. Our proposals offer guaranteed pricing and completion timelines.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the owner of The Resolute Building Group I have been involved in all aspects of residential construction for over 25 years. Including both hands on and management experience as a Technician, Superintendent, Project Manager, General Manager and Operations Director. Below is a brief history of my dedicated career in residential construction: College: University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Hands-on: Worked for 10+ years as a framing and trim carpenter for several custom builders and remodeling firms building out high end projects. Builder: Superintendent and Project Manager for a custom home builder in Naperville, IL and National builder - Pulte Homes, Illinois Division. Management: General Manger of Customer Relations (Warranty and Quality Assurance Department) for Pulte and Del Webb Homes, Illinois Division. Director of Construction for Catalyst Construction and Remodeling - High End remodeling firm located in Chicago.
