Very happy with GLC’s work.
The before photos (#1 & #2) show the wall between 2 closets that had been destroyed.
Photos #3 & #4 show both sides of the completed wall: a walk-thru closet on one side, and linen closet on the other side.
GLC framed, drywalled, and primed a new wall that looks even better than I had hoped.
They also drywalled and finished the front hall closet, which had also been destroyed by the previous owner.
Left the finished closets swept and vacuumed, all clean & tidy.
They answered my many questions, explained all the steps, and made sure to check with me throughout.
Punctual, intensely hard-working, thorough, friendly, reasonably priced, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, helpful.... they even gave me useful tips on the spackling and painting that I was doing in another room. And even helped me carry in all my paint cans :) Above and beyond!

I was in a major time crunch. Not only were they out the next day for a quote, they started the project a couple days later and were completely done in 2.5 days! It was a 10’x6’ laundry room that they drywalled and painted. Sounds like a simple job, but it wasn’t. There were really weird angles and obstructions.

GLC did an OUTSTANDING job bringing back to life my sister’s 850 square feet condominium In Hyde Park Chicago. Alondra and Rafael are an excellent skilled pair!
They gutted, reframed , drywalled and painted the entire Living room . Painted the entire unit walls, ceilings and trim. Drywalled the kitchen ceiling and tiled the floor . Refurbished and painted the kitchen cabinets, installed new countertops and backsplash Gutted the entire bathroom and installed tile in the shower along with flooring.
Alondra kept us abreast of details while they worked. We would definitely hire them again.

They did a very nice job taping, mudding, and sanding some drywall. They worked on ceiling and wall. Turned out very nice. They were responsive, on time, and efficient. Will use them again.
I hired Rafael and Alondra to drywall my basement and build a few walls to break up the space. They did fantastic work at a fair price. Throughout the process, they kept me informed on the progress and offered some helpful tip on several other home projects. They were prompt every day and finished the project ahead of schedule to meet a tight timeline that I had. Do yourself a favor and hire them for your home project. You won't be disappointed!
