FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge clients by the hour. My appointments are two hours long, whether in person or done remotely. There are no contracts or packages. I am happy to give a general estimate of how long it usually takes to edit a Resume, Linked-in page, Cover Letter. Creating web content, working on Common App Essays/SOP's or improving one's English skills all require vastly different amounts of time, depending on the client's goals, needs and timeline. Each client is unique. You can decide how many sessions you like as we work together.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first appointment involves discussion about goals and deadlines, as well as an overview of any documents such as Resumes, Cover Letters, LinkedIn pages, research paper assignments, graduate school declaration of research or dissertations. From there, we begin the process of editing/writing and make an overall plan for sessions moving forward. Some clients work with me 2-3 times a week if they have a project that is under a deadline. Some clients work with me remotely on editing documents, with a combination of Skype/Facetime sessions and me working on academic papers, marketing campaigns or other forms of writing on my own and then reconvening to discuss changes. Many of my long-term, international clients have a "standing appointment" with me once a week as they are C-Level Executives who work with me continuously on their Business English skills, presentations, developing web content, etc. So there is no "typical process" because different clients have different needs. The point is, this is my business 7 days a week, and I am flexible about the consulting/coaching arrangement. We will create a plan that works for you and whatever you are currently working on.
