Had a good time learning some new techniques for training our dog. Went through some difficulties learning some breed specific habits but we eventually found some good ways to practice with our dog(still learning of course). This is of course thanks to our trainers insight, dedication and punctuality. Had a couple of issues with scheduling but we worked through those. If you’re like me and tried different ways of doing training but it didn’t work out, then I would recommend this trainer to others interested in private coaching.

Working with Fabio has been the best decision we could have made for our family and our 5 month old pup. His knowledge, experience, passion, and guidance has helped us to become more confident and responsible dog owners, and has helped us turn our pup into a confident and well behaved dog. We had Fabio come out the first weekend after we brought our dog home and it has been fascinating to see our pup transform each week/each session through each teaching and reinforcement/practice with the homework. We appreciate how easily available Fabio is to send a text or a call if we ever have any questions or need to run through a homework drill one more time with guidance. Our Scooter was a rescue who was living in a garage/barn for the first few months of his life without any human interaction, and was naturally weary of humans and taking direction. He is now so excited to be around people, friendly, playful, excellent at off-leash recall, and is continuing to build confidence in his skills through games, agility, and even just simple 1:1 time practicing basic commands. Our Scooter looks forward to seeing Fabio (and Ava) each time! We highly recommend Fabio to any new or seasoned dog owner for his passion and skill in helping to develop a strong bond between dog and owner.

Working with Fabio has been a game changer for our 10-month-old Old English Sheepdog mix. We started working with Fabio to improve our dog’s off-leash recall — prior to working with Fabio, in the wake of distractions, she’d seem to forget all her commands she knew in the house and ignore us when called. Under Fabio’s guidance, she’s become an off-leash dog we can trust to come back to us when called and stay by our side when needed. He also helped with her loose-leash walking, which has made walks more enjoyable! Fabio has a balanced approach—he emphasizes building a strong relationship with your dog and uses positive reinforcement so your dog enjoys the process, but he’s also skilled in helping you communicate clear boundaries to your dog for real results. He gives you tangibles to work on between sessions, so you can make real progress. You can tell he loves dogs, and he’s been fantastic to work with. We are grateful for the transformation we’ve witnessed in our dog and that she and we are able to enjoy more off-leash adventures. Highly recommend!

Fabio worked wonders with our 11 month old beagle, Apollo, and helped tremendously with some training behaviors we struggled with. My biggest concerns with Apollo centered around behaviors such as recall and putting everything in his mouth and swallowing it as soon as we approached him to get it away. Not only did he take the time to keep Apollo engaged in activities and training that were age and breed appropriate but then he helped train us as owners to continue reinforcing the developed training with our little guy at home to address our main concerns. Throughout the entire time Apollo boarded and trained with Fabio he was responsive and keep us updated with photos and videos to show how Apollo’s training was going. Fabio also worked closely with us to choose a training method that we were comfortable with which could help strengthen our bond with Apollo in future training vs using force or fear to garner desired behaviors. Apollo adored working with Fabio and we can’t thank him enough!
