I have a gas log fireplace that needed cleaning. I was drawn to SN Shine's services by reading all of Navad's outstanding reviews. I hired him because I don't know the proper way to operate a gas log fireplace and I thought I could pick up some advice. Navad inspected the chimney and found several gaps in the chimney's tuckpointing. He explained that it was more important to fix the tuckpointing than it was to clean the fireplace because the gaps in the tuckpointing might create leaks into the ceiling of my second story rooms. He put new flashing around the chimney. He cleaned the chimney and found considerable residue that was probably when we burnt wood logs. He removed and cleaned the logs, fireback and walls. He was so thorough that he insisted on cleaning the glass doors. Navad is very professional and explains everything well. His charges were very fair for the work done. I will definitely hire him again and suggest anyone that needs a thorough chimney inspection do the same.

We had several companies quote us several thousands of dollars to redo our fireplace because the flue liner had somehow detached from the firebox (initially, I was told it was cracked and not repairable). After a while, we sort of gave up on the idea of having a gas start fireplace, but I put out one more request on Thumbtack, and SN Shine was one of the first companies to reach out. Nadav was prompt and took a look at the flue and realized the liner had shifted where its supposed to connect with the firebox. He was able to realign it in less than 30 minutes, and encouraged me to get an inspection with the promise of a money back guarantee if the inspection reports that it’s not safe to use. I appreciate his transparency, honest, and integrity. Would definitely hire him again, but really hoping to enjoy my fireplace instead! Photos include before, after, and a working fireplace!
