- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I ended up working for one of these bait and switch companies and quickly realized this wasn't the way it's supposed to be. I went out and found a couple mentors to teach me the ropes and took all necessary classes to get certified in my field and went out to work for myself.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most jobs are nothing out of the ordinary. Just your typical carpet or upholstery cleaning.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't always look for the best price. Most of the time these companies tell you a lower price over the phone just to get their foot in the door. Once there, they pressure you with additional services that should be included with a quality cleaning anyways.
