- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my pricing simple and transparent: FLAT RATES: For most jobs like TV mounting or smart device installs, I give a fixed price upfront. No "hourly" games where the price grows while I work. NO HIDDEN FEES: Since I’m local to NorthShore, I don't charge for travel or "service calls." You only pay for the work done. BUNDLES: If you have 2 or 3 tasks at once (like a TV mount + a new faucet), it’ll always be cheaper than booking them separately. PARTS: My quotes are for labor. If you need me to pick up a bracket or a specific part, I just add the receipt cost plus a small fee for the trip to the store. I’m always happy to give you a 99% accurate quote over the phone-just send me a photo of what needs to be done!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to keep things moving fast and clear: QUICK CHAT: We talk via Thumbtack or phone. You send me a couple of photos of the project, and I give you a firm estimate. SCHEDULING: We pick a time that works for you. I’m local, so I can often come out the same or next day. THE WORK: I show up on time, protect your floors, and get the job done. If it’s a Smart Home setup, I’ll make sure the app is working on your phone before I leave. CLEANUP: I clean up the workspace and we do a final check together to make sure you’re 100% happy. No stress, no mess-just a professional job from start to finish.

This ensures that every installation is secure and built to last. STRUCTURAL SKILLS: My background in welding and general building allows me to approach every task from mounting a TV to fixing a faucet with precision and attention to detail.
