Many dance instructors can teach the mechanics of dancing. Many people are satisfied with just knowing the mechanics. To take your dancing to the artist level you need someone that is more than just a dance teacher. I have found such a person—Aleks. He has not only taken my dancing to a higher level but he has helped me redefine my purpose in dancing. When I first met Aleks, I knew that he was a rare find. I also knew that his knowledge, experience, and skills would provide me with a solid foundation for ballroom dancing. Within a short period of time of taking private lessons with Aleks, I was able to see my progress and my potential as a dancer. I am excited and honored to be competing with Aleks! I am very proud to be his student. Thank you Aleks for the confidence and for my growth on the dance floor that you have bestowed upon me!

Brittni is an exceptional dance instructor. She is great to work with. She took my non salsa dancing boyfriend and created a monster. He now has the confidence to dance anywhere we go. I knew the basics of salsa dancing and she helped me improve my moves. She has the patience to guide every step of the way. I highly recommend Brittni. We will definitely be calling on her again!

My husband and I have been taking ballroom dance lessons off and on for about 25 years. In that time, we’ve had many teachers. We’ve enjoyed something about all those experiences. But, Anna is the whole package! She’s a beautiful dancer, she’s an excellent teacher, she is patient, creative, and very professional. One of the things we really appreciate about her is how flexible and spontaneous she can be. Sometimes I come in with an idea of something I want to work on, without knowing the name of it or even being able to show her what it looks like. However she always knows what I’m talking about and will figure it out for me. And best of all-we always have a great time with her!

I reached out to Mary to teach me and 7 other women how to do the merengue. It was over Cinco de Mayo weekend and we were celebrating my sisters bachelorette party. No one knew she was coming except for me. She was beyond amazing! From emailing to texting and phone calls she always got back to me in a timely manner. I had warned Mary we were looking to have more fun with it than seriousness and she was perfect! We did a little goofing around but she made sure we got back on track to make sure we finished learning the dance without being rude, bossy, or annoyed. She played her own music and it worked awesome with our group. If we were doing something wrong she corrected us and had fun with us! She was very accommodating to us and flexible with schedules. I 100% recommend Mary Chandler and will be using her again if an opportunity presents itself!

I first went to a Sunday group class to meet Dennis and see if I felt confident and comfortable enough to try taking lessons. I had been dancing socially for about 2 years and finally decided if I was ever going to get past beginner/early intermediate I needed professional help to move forward. I quickly found Dennis was just the man to do that and scheduled my first private lesson. Dennis quickly assessed my strengths and weaknesses and we went right to work, attacking the problems he discovered. His approach is clear and focused on the basics of partner connection and being able to dance with any lead, any time. His styling tips are not just “pretty” but rather functional, to help maintain connection and use the counts fully. I have been working privately and in group lessons with Dennis for 9 months at this writing and he is now working closely with my teenaged daughter as well. In this time we have met many instructors and studios while dancing socially and they all ask us where we have learned to dance. We tell them Dennis PaSamba and they all say something similar, "ahh.. Dennis is great". If you just want a few tips and ideas as an advanced dancer or if you are a complete beginner that is looking for a supportive teacher, you cannot go wrong with Dennis.

I have been taking lessons from Tsha for several years. Tsha is an excellent teacher because she understands movement, and its source. She understands and explains very well how our body moves. She is also excellent at finding why a step, a connection with a partner, a movement is not happening, and pointing out how it can be fixed. Tsha is also very patient with her students, funny, caring and sweet. She always has interesting and new music to use for practice.

Pamm was an excellent teacher. She was very friendly and helped us to feel comfortable when neither of us were very good at dancing. She also came up with a simple but beautiful first dance for our wedding. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend her!

We met Charles when we were looking for a dance instructor to choreograph and teach us a dance routine for our wedding. Charles did it in 4 days! He helped us pick the music, edited it and came up with a dance routine pretty much right then and there. He also accommodated our schedule. I couldn't recommend Charles enough, truly a professional and very personable.

I've taken lessons with Olga, both private and a group body movement class called "ballroom body", for over a year. She is a great teacher, gifted dancer, and clearly communicates technical details of movement. Her ballroom body class is very creative and fun as well. She has great energy, fun personality, is patient and very warm hearted, and just great to be around. I give very high recommendation!

Cherone' loves her profession. She strives for perfection in each and every child that she teaches. It is a joy to know that she has compassion and patience in every child that she has taught. I've know Ms. Burnett for over 25 years. Dancing is in her soul. After all of these years, she still has a twinkle in hers eyes, pep in her feet as if she were performing for the very first time. I applaud her genuine spirit to provide her students with the same attitude, for the love of dance.

Rita is an incredible teacher! She does weekly lessons at a local country bar I have been going to for the last 3 years. She is extremely patient and breaks every move down to its simplest form. She works with a variety of skill levels, from non dancers to advanced levels, she is always able to match her lesson to her audience! She also has an infectiously positive attitude that makes you want to keep learning. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn country line dance.

There are misconceptions that line dancing is all about cowboys and country and western. Yes, there is country and western but Rita Svane makes it look cool, and easy. Rita's style is encouraging and you feel she is talking just to you. Her teaching is excellent in its clarity; steps are taught in short blocks that are gradually put together to create the main frame of the dance, which makes it easier to learn from. I always enjoy the different sorts of music Rita chooses for the dances and her instruction moves are very well thought out. I believe she shows a true reflection of what line dancing is today.

Get Up and Dance made our wedding special, fun, and unforgettable. All of our guests kept telling us that ours was the best and most fun wedding they had ever been to. The Schomas's make sure that everything goes off without a hitch and Jane will even play the part of wedding coordinator if you need her too. They are so much more than a DJ service, they dress up and have fun! My husband and I would definitely use their services again for a 5 year anniversary party!

The 2 hour dance lesson only tapped the surface of knowledge that Dennis has. He really cared and wanted me to learn. I was apprehensive but he quickly made me feel at ease.
