- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is fair and accounts for the specific needs of a project. Unlike design-build companies that could sometimes bury the true cost of design into the construction cost, we work directly for you - as your advocate - and are independent from builders. We can work either hourly with budgets or on a fixed-fee basis. Invoicing is handled monthly, or at the end of a phase and payment is due upon receipt, with late fees charged if payment isn't received within 30-days.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to schedule a meeting either in person, or virtually, to understand what your needs are, your schedule, and budget. We always work from a big-picture/general view and then build on details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Cincinnati. I am licensed to practice architecture in Illinois, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, and maintain good standing with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). I am the managing partner with Stoiber+Associates, Ltd., where I started my career in 2003.
