I have brought a variety of baked goods from Hummingbird Cakery to my office to share with my staff. They are always very well received, and at the top of the popularity list. Their products are fresh and flavorful. I also attended a HIgh Tea, where the sweets and savories were provided by Hummingbird. The variety of options were unique and endless. The display was beautiul and complimented the theme of the event elegantly. The staff was pleasant, professional and helpful. I look forward to using Hummingbird at my next event.

Jennifer is a top notch chef! She created a beautiful bridal high tea for me when I was getting married in May of 2007. The food was amazing and everyone kept telling me how good everything was! Fast forward to this past August 2013, Jennifer made the most beautiful mini bundt cake assortment for my baby shower! Chocolate turtle, lemon and rum raisin cakes just to name a few. They were gone in no timeand everyone was RAVING about how delicious they were. Would highly recommend Jennifer as part of your party planning! She has years of expertise and it shows!

I used Thumbtack to find Jennifer and am really disappointed. We had a signed contract and I had sent her the deposit check. 2 weeks before the event she had to cancel. I understand issues happen, but a professional offering services finds their own replacement when they can no longer provide the services they had a contract to provide! She gave me the name of a replacement that she had not spoken with and when I talked to them they told me they were not even a caterer. Now I have an event in less then 2 weeks and I am scrambling to find a new caterer. I will never use this company again!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was the head chef of a fine dining restaurant when a recruiter started trying to convince me to get into catering. I resisted her constant visits until the day the owner of the restaurant told me he was putting hamburgers on the menu.I have never regretted it. Catering is not for everyone but I love it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Provide sweets and savories to events in your home, office,school or event site as well as set up and equipment rental.This includes baby and wedding showers, office open houses, cocktail parties , sweet tables and my specialty ... High Teas
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I did a sweet 16 party for Catnap from the Heart , a local cat shelter. I had a lot of fun coming up with treats that were appropriate as well as a banner and decorations.
