Introduction: I am a freelance makeup artist with 5 years of experience in bridal, special occasion, and fashion makeup artistry. I have been working exclusively with BareMinerals for the past 6 months to keep my makeup artistry business cruelty free. I also make specialized YouTube content for my personal beauty channel.
Cosmetics is an exploding industry right now and to be on the forefront, I have to constantly keep learning and pushing myself to grow and find new inspiration. YouTube is a way for me to do that while also being able to reach a new and different audience. I also genuinely love being apart of weddings and special occasions. I love getting to be apart of a meaningful day to someone and making them look and feel amazing on that day keeps me loving this job year after year.

I hired Carly to do my wedding makeup; our wedding was in Feburary and the morning of the wedding it snowed 3-4 inches. Carly not only made it there on time, she didn't complain once about the horrific roads and weather, plus- she was early! Carly did wedding makeup for my entire wedding party and made us all look our absolute best. She is super fun and easy to work with as well as kind and caring. She is affordable and provides her brides with a trial to decide what is best for them and what look they're hoping to achieve. Months later I hired Carly to do my makeup for a maternity photo shoot; she killed it that time too and I have pictures to prove it. All in all, I would hire Carly to do my makeup for any event and wished she lived closer so I could work with her more often! I highly recommend Carly Baker Beauty; you will not be disappointed!

I knew when the time came to choose my makeup artist for my wedding day it was going to be the easiest decision of the entire wedding planning process. Along with creating the perfect bridal look on my big day, Carly also transformed me for my engagement photos as well. Each time she listened carefully on what my goal looks were and then worked her magic. She also wants your feedback and if you want something fixed or changed tell her as her ultimate goal is make you feel comfortable and like yourself even in full glam makeup. Since I live in a different state than her I don't get to use her services as often as I would like but if I were near her, I would without a doubt utilize her for any special event, wedding or a special date night out with my husband. Everyone deserves to get glammed up every now and then and feel beautiful, and Carly can help you with just that!

I had Carly do my bridal party makeup for my wedding last June. She did an amazing job and everyone looked gorgeous! She had her work cut out for her since I had a large bridal party, but she was quick and efficient. She finished with time to spare and I could not have been happier! She definitely made getting ready for my wedding easy and enjoyable. I would recommend her to all of my friends for any type of occasion.
