Mary was absolutely wonderful to work with. I have been working on overcoming PTSD for several years. Mary uncovered underlying issues and worked with me to overcome my fears through hypnosis. I experienced a measurable amount of progress working with Mary and I am truly thankful for her insight and healing modalities.

I called with an opportunity that I wanted their assistance on. They discussed it in detail with us and made their recommendations. They explained everything clearly and made sure we were relaxed. They performed the session and everything went as they described. I received the assistance I was looking for and am now feeling much better about the issue.

Mary is an amazing hypnosis therapist!! With the short time Iv got to work with her Iv learned a lot about myself from the past and of the future I wish to live. Iv learned how to except my past as the past but to bring it forward as my present. Mary is a very trustworthy person. And has a very safe environment space to share anything. She very personable. Iv never been hypnotized before her and she helped me get to the point of being fully relaxed and experience all the aspect of hypnosis. I truly do recommend her to anyone. She’s so easy to talk to and I’m a person who doesn’t trust anyone. I hope when everything gets better for me we can have more sessions. Your amazing and thank you for everything!!!😊

When I was seeking hypnotherapy, I found Mary Rosenquist (via Thumbtack). I highly recommend her. I had a very difficult issue that I was trying to deal with, and I'm also hypersensitive to sound. Mary is kind, friendly, and compassionate. She took the time to research my issue and found different techniques within hypnotherapy to help me. She forwarded information and recordings to me so I could continue to practice relaxation for my mind at home. Mary is an excellent and caring therapist. I feel she will try to help you with most any type of problem, just as she helped me.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Great value and competitive pricing offered. While many hypnotist will require a package (multiple session) to be purchased, Riverwalk offers flat rate per session, no minimum number of sessions to purchase. We leave it up to the client to decide if it is a good fit and if they want to return.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For hypnotherapy, client starts with a 90 minute session, intake includes reviewing background information, psychological and medical history. If client is currently under prescription drugs for psychological condition, will need to provide doctor note authorizing use of hypnosis. In first session we will define goals and use hypnosis.
For Reiki, no pre-session work or intake needed. Client will need to remove jewelry for Reiki session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by Bennett Stellar University as a Master Hypnotist, Trauma Release Specialist, NLP practitioner and Reiki Master. I am also a certified by the National Guild of Hypnotist as a Clinical Hypnotist and a member in good standing in addition to a Bachelors degree in Business from Eastern Illinois University.
